Mountain Adventures
A collection of my mountaineering expeditions and alpine adventures around the world

Nauhcampatépetl
My first solo adventure and ascent was here, at the 'Cofre de Perote'. I would repeat it two more times via different routes.

La Malinche
Ascent of the Matlalcueye volcano, a classic of Tlaxcala and Puebla, Mexico's sixth-highest peak.

Iztaccíhuatl
Traverse of the 'Sleeping Woman', Mexico's third-highest peak.

Volcancillo
Neighboring hill of Cofre de Perote with views of the Veracruz highlands.

Sierra Negra
Summit of the Sierra Negra volcano, Mexico's fifth-highest peak, home to the Large Millimeter Telescope.

Fujisan
Ascent of Mount Fuji, Japan's most iconic peak. I summited twice, on two consecutive days.

Mulhacén
Summit of Mulhacén, the highest in the Iberian Peninsula.

Pico Veleta
Ascent of Veleta, Sierra Nevada's second-highest summit.

Teide
Ascent of Teide, the highest peak in Spain.

Bobotov Kuk
Summit of Bobotov Kuk, Montenegro's highest point.

Musala
Ascent of Musala, the roof of the Balkans, Bulgaria's highest peak.

Zugspitze via Höllental
Summit of Zugspitze, Germany's highest point, crossing the Valley of Hell (Höllental), the second-hardest route to reach there.

Alpspitze
Ascent of Alpspitze, Zugspitze's little sister, from Hammersbach.

La Derrumbada Roja
Ascent of La Derrumbada Roja, a volcanic dome in Puebla.

La Maliciosa
My favorite in the Sierra de Guadarrama; I've climbed it multiple times via different routes, including the winter alpine tour through the 'Tubo de Todos'.

La Peñota
Ascent of La Peñota, a natural balcony of Guadarrama.

Abantos
Route on Abantos, a viewpoint over San Lorenzo de El Escorial.

Mount Parnassus
Mountaineering adventure on one of Greece's classic summits.

Jubiläumsgrat
The classic high-alpine ridge between Zugspitze and Alpspitze, the hardest route to reach Germany's highest point.

Hallasan
Summit of Hallasan, the highest point in South Korea.

Seongsan Ilchulbong
Volcanic tuff cone famous for sunrise views.

Taal Volcano
Active volcano with a crater in Lake Taal.

Huangshan
Famous for twisted pines, granite peaks, and seas of clouds.

Lantau Peak
Hong Kong's second-highest summit with views of the Tian Tan Buddha.

Wugong Mountain
Known for alpine meadows and seas of clouds; dramatic ridge traverses.

Qixing Mountain
Highest peak in Taipei in Yangmingshan National Park; a dormant volcano with fumaroles.

Leiterspitze
Alpine summit we did on an idle afternoon in a very quick ascent.

Via Ferrata Kühtai
High-alpine route with airy/exposed moves; considered difficult, with sections graded D/E.

Großer Donnerkogel
Ascent via Seeklausalm, bivouacking in the forest and climbing the stairway to heaven, it was a good scramble!

Monte Perdido
Classic Pyrenees ascent, starting from Ordesa Valley via the Hunter's Trail and Góriz hut. Quite tiring :P

Pa de Figa
Southern part of Puig Major, maximum elevation of Mallorca island. 300-meter multi-pitch climb.

Pico Aneto
The highest peak in the Pyrenees and the second-highest in the Iberian Peninsula.
